ACTIVITIES OF ORGANISATION

  • (i) As we are a cadre based Association and all are Engineers, we have some legitimate cadre centric demands like quick promotion, proper transfer policy… etc. which we place to appropriate higher authority for proper justice.

  • (ii) Our Engineers have done pivotal role during COVID pandemic as we have to do all the hard works regarding maintenance of all COVID hospitals without caring for our life.

  • (iii) We have celebrated our Association on 30th August, 2020 birthday, with tree plantation throughout West Bengal for taking care of our Mother Nature.

  • (iv) We have organized district wise relief camp for under privileged people during Lockdown of Covid pandemic.

  • (v) We have distributed clothes to under privileged people before Durga Puja as well as in winter season in various districts throughout West Bengal.

  • (vi) We have arranged blood donation camp successfully.

  • (vii) We have organized technical seminars for new comers, one at Malda (for North Bengal Candidates) on 10th January 2021 and the other at Purba Bardhaman (for South Bengal Candidates) on 17th January 2021, so that they can cope up with departmental work system, rules and regulations at the earliest.

OUR DEMAND AS ENGINEERS

  • Proper recognition, respect & justice to all Engineering cadres in various sectors as well as Implementation of equal pay for equal work

  • The entry scale of Junior Engineer should be just below the scale of Assistant Engineer.

  • Reserve highest post for Engineers in Engineering Department for delivering of smooth, quick & quality work.

  • Punishment & fixation of personal responsibility to the respected chair for showing Departmental Lacuna in promotional case of an Engineer officer irrespective of his designation.

  • To allow all level of Engineers including Junior Engineers for appearing in Professional Examinations just after his joining in the service.

  • Minimum qualifications for Diploma in Engineering in entry level should be higher secondary (I.e. 10+2).

  • Providing fixed travelling Allowances for specially Junior Engineers engaged in day to day Site work for proper quality monitoring at site.

  • Junior Engineers should get at least next two non functional promotional scales in his full service life even if he may not get the promotional chair due to unavailability of sufficient promotional post. It should be like non functional AE’s scale after 8 years of service if he cleared his professional examinations & EE’s scale after 16 years of service as Junior Engineer.

  • Creating post of Assistant Engineer in each block office in P&RD department for timely delivering & ensuring the quality work in Panchayat level.

  • Introduction of e-MB in every Engineering Departments.

  • Nirman sahayak should be redesignated as Junior Engineer (Panchayat).

  • Formation of Engineers council same as Doctors, Nurses, Lawyers etc.

DEMAND FOR STATE GOVT.EMPLOYEES

  • D.A should be as per central Govt. employees.

  • Bonus should be paid @ 8.33 %
  • Due D.A should be paid gradually.
  • Reviewing the C.A scheme non functional promotion should be paid as per 7,11,21, and 25. Year.
  • Our Association is against the contractual recruitment.

  • Any type of Contractual recruitment should be stopped.

  • All Government vacant post should be fill up by only proper recruitment policy through various Recruitment Board.
